Vancouver sits at the edge of some of the finest cruising grounds on the west coast: a city skyline on one side, and a run of islands, fjords, and forested inlets on the other. A JULY charter is planned around this geography, not despite it.
The Cruising Grounds

Coal Harbour & the City Waterfront
Departure begins where the mountains meet the skyline. Coal Harbour puts the city on display from the water, seaplanes lifting off alongside you and the North Shore rising behind the glass towers. It is the natural opening act for any charter, and a striking backdrop for a short evening cruise on its own.
West Vancouver & the Point Grey Shoreline
West along English Bay, the shoreline turns to bluffs, beaches, and the quiet estates of the West Vancouver waterfront. These waters run calm on most days, making them a favorite for a relaxed afternoon cruise, a family outing, or a first charter for guests still finding their sea legs.
Bowen Island
A half hour crossing puts you in Snug Cove, a small harbor town with a genuine village feel: galleries, a bakery, and trailheads a short walk from the dock. It is close enough for a half day charter, yet far enough to feel like a proper departure from the city.
Howe Sound
North of Bowen, Howe Sound opens into one of the most dramatic fjords on this coast, granite peaks dropping straight into deep water and islets tucked into folds of the shoreline. Anchorages here are sheltered and often empty, well suited to a slow afternoon at anchor or an overnight aboard the L-Class 650.
Indian Arm
East of the city, Indian Arm cuts twenty kilometers into the Coast Mountains, a narrow fjord of waterfalls and old growth forest with almost no development along its shore. Guests are often surprised how close this wilderness sits to downtown, reachable within the hour and worlds away once you arrive.
The Sunshine Coast
For full day and overnight charters aboard the Gran Turismo 40, the Sunshine Coast extends the range further still, a string of coves, marine parks, and fishing grounds running north from Howe Sound. Our captains plan the route around conditions and season, so every stop earns the extra distance.
How We Plan
The route follows the day, not a script.
Every one of these destinations rewards a different kind of day. A short evening cruise past the city lights calls for Coal Harbour and English Bay. A family outing or a first time charter finds calmer water off West Vancouver or a quiet cove near Bowen Island. A full day aboard the Gran Turismo 40 can reach as far as the Sunshine Coast, while an overnight on the L-Class 650 is built for the deep anchorages of Howe Sound.
